Who is Leyte Nihongo
About me
Hello everyone! How are you?
My name is Geralyn Reuterez Hormillija from Hinundayan, Southern Leyte, Philippines. I am 26 years old. I finished off a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management at Saint Joseph College, Maasin City.
I am an outgoing person, kindhearted, responsible, enthusiastic, friendly, approachable, and above all, I am remarkably patient with everyone.
I like reading books, watching movies or series, and cooking delish Filipino cuisine. Moreover, I extremely love learning new things including new cultures and meeting new people that’s why I am so much fond of traveling. I am also a cat lover.
I am ambitious and a dreamer. I always work hard to achieve what I dream of. One of my dreams was to work abroad. So, I work hard for this dream. I started working with my dream by applying to an agency bound to Japan. When I was hired, I needed to proceed to the next step which was to study the Japanese language. As a student, I studied hard and go the extra mile. I was exhausted, stressed, and I had been on bumpy roads to finish off the course. With perseverance and faith, I did finish the Japanese Language course for 800 hours.
When I arrived in Japan for the first time, I was proudly telling myself that this is a dream come true. It was never an effortless journey I have been working on to finally get there. Yet, I have achieved this because I worked hard for it.
Japan is an epitome of a perfect country. From their jaw-dropping technology, extremely clean surroundings, and genuinely friendly people, there is a fair chance that you will stay there and will not go back to your country again. But, of course, we are Filipinos. We always want to go back to where we belong. Having seen and live in Japan for years are more than enough and could not ask for more.
Then, there’s another dream rushing to my mind. I have a passion for teaching. Since I was a young girl, I had always loved teaching kids younger than me. And it’s knocking my heart again. This time I want to do it. I want to teach. I need to teach. I should teach.
So, currently, I am working as an online English Teacher and a Japanese language tutor to pursue my desired passion which is teaching.
Are you also a dreamer like me?
Do you want to go to Japan and you don’t know about your first move?
Then, do not hesitate to ask me because I am here to inspire and help you to work on your dreams.
“”It is not what is poured into the student, but what is planted, that counts.”
